High Voltage: Teens on a Mission

Teens on a mission was created to give talented teens in the San Antonio area a place shine during our official 300th Tricentennial event. Teens can submit applications to be a part of this event by being a part of the entertainment(although we are booked we encourage your teen and band to submit an application form in case someone cancels and to be considered for future events), a vendor selling their arts and crafts or Artist with work showing in the gallery. It is an outdoor event in the heart of the Southside of San Antonio at the recently renovated grounds of the old Mission Drive-in. The Mission Marquee Plaza still hosts movies and events on a preserved screen that is now attached to a stage and large lawn area. The location is an area that is sometimes lost in the city, yet is rich in culture as it sits next to the historical Mission San Jose, the new Mission Library and brand-new YWCA. Live Music & Art, Vendors, Food, Film and will make this a fun filled cultural experience for teens. Limited-edition t-shirts and other merch will be for sale. All proceeds will benefit operational costs and free year-round workshops for teens. 

Entertainment: DJ Epsr MartinezSan Antonio Girls Rock Camp band, Wiley MartinezHigh Voltage Music Program students, Z-Pocalypse (teen headliners) and main headliners including, Tiarra Girls from Austin, TX, plus a special guest and more! 
Short Films and LIVE painters!

Art Gallery: A full outdoor Art Gallery inside a tent featuring works of Art by Artists 12-18 yrs. old. Art for sale will be featured on website prior to event and sales are open to the public. 

Vendors: Vendors will sell handmade arts and crafts. Vendors will be ages 12-18 years old and sell age appropriate items at reasonable prices. 

Workshops: We are collaborating with South Texas Museum of Popular Culture and Martinez Street Women's Center and more Art organizations to host free take home Art Workshops!

Raffle: We are selling raffle tickets for prizes, including an Electric Guitar bundle, Skateboard(s), Music, Gift Cards, Jewelry, swag and other fun items donated by area retailers. We are also adding anyone that registers their email address with us into a door prize pool for a fun prize, as well. All proceeds will go towards HVMP’s annual budget. NOTE: as of right now we do not have pre-sale raffle tickets.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT HIGH VOLTAGE MUSIC PROGRAM AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES AND YEAR-ROUND FREE WORKSHOPS!
